I always knew I wanted to help people. It started with teaching high school math (algebra is my favorite!!). But I quickly realized I was spending more time talking to my students about what was going on in their lives and helping them navigate situations than actually teaching math. I earned my MA in School Counseling and worked as a school counselor for five years before working in full-time ministry as an assistant children's pastor at our local church. I LOVED working for my church and working with families. That time refueled my passion of wanting to help parents, specifically mothers, as they navigated parenting and finding themselves. 
 
I graduated with my MS in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2022 working with adolescent and adult clients in my church, at a local hospital, and in an addiction setting during my internships. I then spent two years working in residential substance abuse treatment and teaching classes for adult probation.

I'm now in private practice doing what I love most - working with teens, young parents, and adults as they work through life transitions, heal from trauma, manage life stressors, and build healthy relationships.
